- Stop Watching Adult Videos

- Get Some Sunlight
Exercise
Come on, don’t tell me you’re surprised by this? Exercising has many physical and mental benefits. It is one of those things where you can have full control over. Okay, what I am about to say next, some of you might be offended. Stop looking for someone to motivate you. Stop trying to find a song that will help you get there. Stop doing too much and overcomplicating the situation. The only person you need to motivate you is yourself. YOU ARE ENOUGH! One more time. YOU…ARE… ENOUGH! Compete only with yourself, each day try to surpass the person you were the day before. Maintain at least an average of 30 minutes a day, three times a week of working out. An hour a day, 4-5 days a week should be your overall goal. If you are injured or have a disability, find out what routine works for you.
It helps to learn more as you continue to exercise. Do some research and start having fun with your work outs. Continuously educate yourself but do not over pile your brain with too much information. Whether you do home workouts or gym workouts, it really does not matter. Strive to be healthy and fit. Remember, do not focus on where you want to end up. What do I mean by that? Many of us are get so focused on the destination and I don’t know why. Think about it, what will last longer? Is it the destination or the actual journey? Stop waiting to be happy and enjoy the entire process!
Eat Healthy and Drink Water
Once again, no surprise there. You ever heard the saying “you are what you eat”? Well, you have no idea how true that is. Just go on google and type in “why is water important”. Countless studies have already proved the value of consuming enough water throughout the day. Water helps maintain body temperature, protect our tissues, and removes wastes. It does a lot more, which is why I suggest you really do the research so it stays in your head as to why you should consume enough of it.
Having a balanced diet is key to succeeding in improving your life. I suggest you count your macros for one reason. Do it for at least one week and then you can stop. If you do, it will help you realize just how much fat, carbs, protein, and calories you have actually been consuming. Additionally, you will realize how calories are distributed. For example, you may notice that two pieces of donuts have the same calories as a full meal of broccoli, mashed potatoes, and chicken. When you are starving and you have the option between the two, will you choose the two donuts or a nice full meal? Most people have the misconception that eating healthy means starving. That is definitely not the case. Focus on all natural products such as vegetables, fruits, beef, chicken, nuts, milk, eggs, and fish. Avoid added sugar, plain and simple. Do not take my word for it. Do the research and correct me if I am wrong.
Stop Watching Adult Videos
Come on people, we are better than this. Why do we allow these videos to stimulate our brain and release an overflow of dopamine levels? Thanks to the internet, these videos are convenient to practically anyone who has access to the internet. Today, more studies are proving just how dangerous these things are for the brain. This is another major topic I urge all of you to research! Do you know why some of you have a hard time giving it up? You have created a habit with a strong reward system that quickly releases a dangerous amount of dopamine. Again, do not take my word for it, do the research.
In addition to avoiding these videos, it would be wise to stop masturbating altogether. I know some experts and non-experts will suggest that it’s healthy to masturbate in moderation. I personally disagree with them. When you masturbate, it is as if you give power to your thoughts, urges, or the people you think about. Be strong and overcome it. Treat it as another challenge or obstacle to defeat. The longer you avoid it, the easier it will get. The beginning is always tough for any challenge.
Read
Yes, it is that simple. Just read a book for at least 10-20 minutes a day. Before bed, is usually the most convenient time for many of us. Remember, your time is valuable so make good use of it. If you plan on reading, I suggest you focus on books that will help you improve mentally or even physically. You can read books that are philosophical, inspirational, goal oriented, or any book that can bring value to you.
Get Some Sunlight
While there are many things that can be added to the list, sunlight is one of the most important topics you need to understand. Go out, enjoy the sun whenever you can. The sunlight has many benefits including helping you sleep better at night. Staying out in the sun too long can be dangerous of course. Getting the right amount, however, allows your body to make vitamin D. Amongst the many other benefits of vitamin D, we need it to help regulate our immune system. Again, this post is intended to get you started. I suggest you do more research on all five topics and start from there.
Final Thoughts
Is it just me or does this seem too easy? Exercise, eat healthy, control what you watch, read, and get some sunlight. When you think about it, these things can be done. So why do we fail at doing them? Why are we not consistent with these things on a daily basis? Here is one of my personal theories. Habits are basically behaviors that are repeated almost automatically. Why can’t we turn these things into habits? The answer is simple. Most habits that we do, may have a quick reward. For example, when you watch an adult video, your brain rewards you with an instant release of dopamine. The things on the list, however, do not give you a quick and overwhelming release of dopamine. You start to give up or reject them because you have adapted to the things that come easy. Here is my advice, find happiness and joy in the struggle itself and in the journey. When you feel lazy to work out, treat it like it is not a choice. Listen, there are numerous recipes to improving your life, but there are no secret recipes that will motivate you if you do not motivate yourself. BE STRONG, BE FEIRCE, ENJOY THE STRUGGLE, AND REMEMBER THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
